1999 - 2003: MEd in Educational Technology and ELT, University of Manchester. A three to five year distance course comprising of six modules and dissertation.

July 1986: Annalivia School of Languages, Dublin, Introductory course in T.E.F.L.

1982-1985: Dublin City University, B.A: In Communication Studies. The B.A: combined media studies with a high linguistic element including courses on Applied, Social and Advanced linguistics.

1982: Leaving Certificate, Rathdowney Community College including merits in three languages (Irish, English and French).

  • Regular attender to and speaker at TESOL-SPAIN annual conference, GRETA and CETA conferences in Spain.

2004 -Director at English Language Institute Seville of one of it's 12 centres. This involves caareful coordination of students, teachers and parents needs.

2003 -Academic Department at English Language Institute Seville. This post includes course design, implementation, teacher training etc. with special responsibility for teenagers and higher levels.

July 2001 -Director summer intensive courses, teenagers and adults at English Language Institute Seville. This post included the coordination of Trinity exams for all adult students.

1984 -Multimedia co-ordinator at English Language Institute Seville. This post includes the implemention of multimedia rooms and materials.
